"SUMO paint is a free image editing software taht gives you the opportunity to create, edit and comment images online with powerful tools and layer support."
1.User Interface
Click on "view" and select "Enter Full Screen Mode." You may not notice that it's a online editor. The user interface is quite similar to Photoshop. If you have ever use Photoshop, you can get used to SUMO Paint easily.

2.SUMO Filters

You may find some filters, such as brightness/contrast, color balance, hue/saturation and etc, are listed in the "Filter" menu. They are supposed to meet your needs in most graphic editing situations.
Take brightness/contrast for example, it makes no differences whether you use Photoshop or SUMO paint to do this job. But most importantly, SUMO paint is FREE!
3.Performance
Before you edit, upload an image is required. It depends on the speed of your internet service. It takes approximate 25 seconds to upload a 1.67M image, in my case.
The process time of filter is satisfactory. It will not take you too much time waiting the result of the calculation.
you can save your file either in your computer, or on your SUMO account.
I never used this kind of web 2.0 application before, it really surprise me with so many functions available for free. And the most advanced strength of online software, in my opinion, is that you can access your files anytime, anywhere and share with other people, as long as internet-based environment.
4.conclusion
I would suggest everyone to try SUMO paint and keep this website in you bookmark. If you do not have any online album service, you may create a SUMO account to save your images online. Unfortunately, it does not support other online image service such as flicker or picasa so far.
If you are a flicker or picasa user, you may be interested in these application as follows.

assignment 1
These are series of camera pictures from different period of time. The older one can be as big as a man. It must be operated by several men. In the digital age, my favorite part, you can take as many pictures as you want. Lots of lens for you to use in different themes of photo. It could be too large for you to hold and a tripod will be help in this situation. Taking picture is rally fantastic in the digital age.
